Storekeeper - Interiors

Job Description

  • Preparation of Material Receipt Vouchers, Delivery Notes, and Stock Cards
  • Maintain stock records on inventory and consumables
  • Check stock items
  • Issue inventory and consumables from stock
  • Check/verify incoming materials against delivery orders and material requisition vouchers
  • Maintain minimum balance on consumables
  • Maintain register book on consumables
  • Label and store incoming material
  • Label job-related-incoming-material with job reference number
  • Maintain order and hygiene in warehouse

Qualification and Experience

  • Secondary school level
  • Minimum 5 years experience in stock keeping

Critical Competencies

  • Ability to independently prepare documentation
  • Ability to identify stock items
  • Ability to interact between accounts, drivers, supervisors
  • Good communication skills
  • Experienced in MS Word and Excel

Site Supervisor Joinery

Job Description

  • Monitor and evaluate labour performance 
  • Site supervision and distribution of work
  • Organise transport of materials/labour from factory to site and back
  • Maintain a safe, orderly, and clean site working environment
  • Carry out Site Survey prior to project commencement
  • Labeling floor plans, take/check measurements & templates, and record site instructions
  • Quality control on workmanship and purchased materials
  • Liaison between 1) client and office and 2) site and office
  • Liaison and communication with sub-contractors
  • Preparation of Material Requisition (tools, materials, spare parts, sub-contractors, etc)
  • Preparation of site installation schedule and weekly site progress reports
  • Attend and minute daily and weekly site meetings
  • Preparation snag list and final Bill of Quantities
  • Recommendation on leave approval request for site personnel
  • Enforce rules, regulations, and procedures

Qualifications and Experience

  • Computer literate. MS Office (Word and Excel)
  • Diploma in Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years in turnkey interiors or construction industry

Project Manager

Job Description 

  • External coordination between client, site, office, factory, and sub-contractors
  • Internal coordination between factory, design, drawing development, procurement, estimation, and site installation
  • Monitoring of daily production and installation schedules
  • Monitoring of project completion schedule/program of works
  • Monitoring of drawings against client requirements and estimated budget
  • Assist in preparation of final BOQ for projects completed
  • Certification of subcontractor and supplier payments
  • Authorisation of Work Orders for factory and site installation
  • Approval/checking of Material Requisition Voucher (project related only)
  • Signing of internal official documents (purchase orders, cheques, guarantees, visas, financial reports, etc.)

 Qualification and Experience

  • Technical College/University Degree in Quantity Survey/Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years experience in interior fit outs and project management

Interior Designer

 As a critical member of our team a vacancy exists for an interior designer to fulfill the role of Interior designer which includes the following activities and roles:

  • Site investigation & survey
  •  Working closely with clients and Summertown Interiors team on design brief from client in order to identify client needs and requirements.
  • Preparing conceptual drawings
  • Preparation of architectural lay-outs, elevation plans, floor and ceiling plan, furniture lay-out, electrical layout, material specifications, finishes and design details
  • Preparation and presentation of presentation boards
  • Assist, preparation and checking of detailed site workshop drawings in ACAD
  • Coordination and follow-up with estimator, project coordinator and site installation manager
  • Maintain and up-date drawing records

Qualifications and Essential Skills

  • Have a sound knowledge in Auto CAD 14 & 2000.
