Summertown Take Part in International No Car Day

Summertown's green committee, 'Eco Leaders', has rolled out the first of a series of community green initiatives for the company, with a ban on employees driving their cars to work today.
International No Car is a global initiaitve whereby people are encouraged to ditch their car for a day and make use of alternative forms of transport. For Summertown, this has seen our employees arriving to work by bus, using the newly opened Dubai Metro lines, and even cycling. Car pooling has also proven to be a popular method used by employees - grouping together 4 or more passengers in one vehicle.
A prize will be awarded by Summertown's 'Eco Leaders' committee to the individual/team who has selected the most innovative, eco-friendly way to arrive to work.
