McGraw Hill addresses virtually every aspect of the education market from pre-K through professional learning, using traditional materials, online learning and multimedia tools.

They needed an open plan office that still had certain enclosed private units such as a meeting room and a CEO office. Summertown incorporated features such as gypsum for the ceiling, carpet, laminate flooring and lipping which was used to ease the transition and streamline the varying heights in the various sections of the room. The open plan reflected a clean corporate image in line with their global image and standards.

Summertown co-ordinate a team approach to ensure that the project met strict deadlines & adhered to client’s corporate branding. Procurement was a challenge as all goods had to be readily available. A full team of: designers, account manager, coordinator, PM and a site manager were assigned to the project.

Summertown achieved a streamline, clean cut and a highly polished look. The office had a feel of serenity and calm keeping the focus on work. The open plan created a natural flow of communication, improving effectiveness and a custom built pantry reflected the professional look.
