CBRE is the world's leading commercial real estate advisor. With over 4,500 employees and 127 offices in 34 countries, they have more consultants advising more customers than any other property firm. The talented local team that prides itself on personal service and intimate local knowledge.
The new offices in the Burj Dubai Business Square required a functional open plan office which would promote and encourage communication and knowledge sharing, and was driven by the belief that all staff should enjoy and feel comfortable in their working environment.
The office plan includes a quiet library area, where researchers could carry out their work without disturbance, as well as serving as organised storage area. As ergonomic furniture was a must, the Ahrend chairs were put to the test and all staff were given the opportunity to use each proposed chair, before decisions were made.
Summertown Interiors' insights into the corporate philosophy and working environment of CBRE, came from utilising their international connections to understand the working culture and design of the CBRE Amsterdam office. By combining this knowledge with local implementation and a thorough project plan and ISO quality system, Summertown has been able to reflect the brand image and will be able to facilitate the further expansion for CBRE in the region.
