A turnkey fit out of trail exchange centre leads to award of Design and fit out of new Exchange

The DGCX commenced trading in Dubai November 2005 as the regions first derivatives and commodities exchange. DGCX is a technology driven, de-mutual organization committed to provide a world-class trading platform for a wide array of commodities and to implement the best global practices, with the highest level of transparency. Being located in the Middle East it fits the critical time zone between the markets of Europe and the Far East.

When Summertown interiors  took the design brief for 1260 square meters of turnkey office space, inclusive of a specific requirement for server to house a High- Tec Exchange Server, we set about designing a space plan in close cooperation with the client to ensure all budget, time and bespoke considerations were adhered to.

The deliverables included:  The design and space plan as well as end to end fit out and project management of seventy workstations, design and execution of  78 square meters of exchange server room and back-up server. The reception was designed specifically to the clients requirements of ensuring a customer friendly entry to facilate the easy access to meeting rooms , as well as three meeting rooms, a   breakout meeting room to cater for 25 persons, 24  person boardroom, 32 person training room equipped with state of the art technology, and executive offices for the top team.

The on time, on budget delivery enabled the DGCX to launch the Exchange Centre.
