The HCT prides itself as one of the largest most progressive and innovative places of higher learning in the United Arab Emirates. Commitment to excellence in teaching and learning are at the forefront and has set standards worldwide which are showcased to dignitaries and visiting delegations as an environment that produces graduates who are trained for a life of ongoing learning and professional success.
Summertown Interiors' relationship with HCT has gone from strength to strength since inception in 2003, and has been able to match the philosophy and high standards requiring innovative interior design and fit out solutions to represent and showcase the latest trends in educational facilities in the Middle East.
The Independent Learning Centre challenged Summertown Interiors to create an innovative, stimulating environment with more free space, increasing capacity from 40 to 60 students. The result is an innovative solution that is now presented to visiting delegations.
By closely collaborating, Summertown Interiors have subsequently been trusted to provide tailor-made solutions, which take into account a demanding student environment and requires durability, quality and ergonomics. Ultimately ensuring every student is comfortable and interacting in a superior educational environment. All furniture needs to be functional and the designs need to complement and inspire with changes in colour and messaging as students move through the different areas and within the campus.
Summertown Interiors prides itself on the end to end design and fit out solution, the latest of which has seen expansions to the Independent Learning Centre wing, renovation work and new multimedia display areas and furniture upgrades within the Library, and design and fit out of 7 new classrooms.
