Project Overview
Global bank opens the doors to its new offices in record time
ABN Amro Bank NV, a leading Dutch independent bank, sought Summertown’s expertise to support their global design and engineering partners, Wim Kitselar, based in the Netherlands. Summertown were the number one choice for its new Dubai offices to deliver the high quality finish expectations that met corporate global design standards and could be executed in record time.
The office areas for the ABN Amro employees needed to encompass a transparent, open plan functional environment, whilst offering privacy for key senior management and meeting room spaces. It also needed to embrace private working space for other divisions within the banking group to occupy.
The project was delivered in a total of 6 weeks with emphasis placed on identifying early procurement requirements at the outset of the project to ensure that the tight timescale can be met. Local authority approvals were micromanaged to ensure there was no delay, and to avoid any communication delays with the Dutch based design and engineering companies, all correspondence was transcribed in both Dutch and English.
The end result was delivered on time, within budget and with exact specifications met, allowing all parties involved in the execution to complete their on site works smoothly and efficiently.
