HR Manager
Esra graduated from University in Istanbul and has accumulated a wealth of HR experience spanning more than 10 years. Her various roles in Turkey were for blue-chip companies, and after a move to Dubai in 2005 her career saw her take a new direction, focusing on mid-senior management recruitment working for an international executive search firm. Her blue chip experience coupled with management recruitment experience has enabled Esra to gain a wealth of knowledge in talent management, organizational & people development, and employee relations, and made Esra the perfect choice for Summertown.
Esra's main role with Summertown is to drive the company’s HR strategies. She is very passionate about bringing people and business needs together, and believes in creating a work environment where people can be encouraged to perform better, and as a result achieve job satisfaction and recognition across the organization.
In her spare time, Esra loves travelling. Her travel encounters following graduation with just her backpack for company, introduced her to new cultures – something she still enjoys now. Her biggest hobby now is spending time with her young son, enjoying motherhood, and her new found love of photography.
