Priory Wellbeing Centre

Project Overview

The Priory Group, a leading healthcare provider from the United Kingdom, sought to establish a wellbeing clinic in Abu Dhabi following the success of its Dubai Wellbeing Center which opened in 2017. The new Abu Dhabi Priory Wellbeing Center is located in Al Bateen, Abu Dhabi, and are specialized in providing psychiatric and psychological mental health, neuro-developmental and behavioural assessments and treatment to adults and children.

The brief was to transform a new 1,024sqm villa into a welcoming wellbeing center for specialist consultations including, wellbeing, occupational and speech therapy. Key to Priory’s wellbeing center was a space with a calming atmosphere for adults and children, and consultation rooms and areas that provided privacy. Designed by LXA, translated by Summertown Interiors, and project managed by PMK Consult, the new wellbeing center design incorporates a subtle colour palette, natural timber finishes, opaque glazing for privacy and UAE inspired wall graphics. The children’s consultation and play areas are soothing spaces with acoustically treated seating nooks to allow for a quieter and more private waiting experience. Click here to view video.
