Being named in a Power List is one thing. Being named in it consistently is something else entirely.
We are proud to share that Summertown Interiors has once again been named in Commercial Interior Design’s Fit-Out Firm Power List 2026. Published in March 2026, the list recognises the most dynamic and detail-driven fit-out firms across the Middle East, celebrating creativity, precision, and standout projects in commercial, hospitality, residential, and mixed-use sectors. Last year, we were shortlisted for two honours at the CID Awards MENA 2025, including Interior Fit-Out Firm of the Year. This recognition builds on that momentum.
For us, it means a lot. Not because of the listing itself, but because of what it represents.

Summertown Interiors has been named in the CID Fit-Out Firm Power List 2026, recognising nearly 30 years of sustainable, high-performance interior fit-out across the UAE.
Nearly 30 Years of Showing Up
Summertown was founded in Dubai in 1997. Since then, the city has changed beyond recognition. The way businesses think about their offices has shifted too, especially in recent years. Sustainability, wellbeing, energy performance, these are no longer nice-to-haves. They sit at the heart of how forward-thinking organisations make decisions about their spaces.
We have always believed that. It is why we were the first fit-out contractor in the UAE to operate from a LEED Gold-certified interior. Not because a client asked us to, but because we felt it was the right way to work. If we are asking clients to build sustainably, we should be doing the same ourselves.
That philosophy has not changed. It has grown.
Some things are easier to feel than to explain. This is one of them.
What CID Said About Summertown
In the Power List, CID described Summertown as “a leading sustainable fit-out specialist delivering high-performance workplaces across commercial, healthcare, education, and institutional sectors.” They also pointed to our strong record of on-time delivery and technical precision.
Two recent projects were highlighted as examples of our work. The first is Schneider Electric’s “The Nest,” a workspace that reflects exactly the kind of client we work best with. A company that takes sustainability seriously and wants their office to reflect that. The second is a sophisticated workspace for a global law firm in DIFC, where quality, discretion, and long-term value were the brief.
Different sectors. Different needs. The same underlying commitment to doing the job properly.
The Numbers Behind the Recognition
Listings and awards matter. But data tells a more honest story.
In 2025, 21% of our projects achieved LEED certification. We diverted 70% of construction waste from landfill, against a sector average of 23%.
Those figures do not happen by accident. They come from decisions made long before anyone sets foot on site. The materials we specify. The suppliers we work with. The way we audit demolition waste before a project begins. Sustainability is not something we add at the end. It runs through every stage of delivery.
For projects over 2,000 sqm, we also offer complimentary LEED certification in Dubai. That removes a significant cost barrier for clients and helps them meet their ESG reporting commitments without extra consultancy fees. It is a practical way of making sustainable office fit-out in Dubai more accessible.

Our Journey2030 Commitment
Recognition like this fits into a wider picture. Our Journey2030 strategy sets out clear, measurable targets for the years ahead.
- 100% green-certified projects.
- Zero waste to landfill.
- Spaces that genuinely improve the health and wellbeing of the people who use them every day.
We report on our progress annually, following Global Reporting Initiative standards. Because accountability matters. And because the clients and partners we work with deserve to see exactly where we stand.
This Power List recognition is a welcome external signal that the work is landing.
A Thank You to the People Who Make It Possible
This kind of recognition belongs to the Summertown team first and foremost. It belongs to the clients who trust us with complex, high-profile projects, often on tight timelines. And it belongs to the partners who work alongside us to deliver them well.
We are grateful to the CID team for the recognition and to everyone who nominated us.
Here’s to continuing to raise the bar.
