"Nicola Trivett is General Manager of Summertown Interiors, leading the UAE’s most established sustainable fit-out contractor. In 2025, she was recognised at #7 on the prestigious Fit-Out Powerlist, celebrating the Middle East’s most innovative leaders in the industry.
With a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design and over 20 years’ experience in construction, Nicola began her career in Scotland as a designer before moving into project management. Since relocating to the UAE in 2013, she has delivered fit-out projects for Fortune 500 companies, government entities and leading regional businesses across commercial, healthcare, hospitality and education sectors.
Under her leadership, Summertown has strengthened its position as a pioneer in LEED and WELL certified fit-outs, including landmark projects for Schneider Electric, DMCC, Mediclinic and LinkedIn. Nicola is a regular speaker at industry events, including the Future of Architecture Summit and Dubai Design Week, and has been featured in Commercial Interior Design magazine.
Outside work, Nicola is a mother of four, a keen runner and a dedicated yoga practitioner.
