We’re delighted to announce that Summertown Interiors has been shortlisted for two prestigious honours at the upcoming Commercial Interior Design (CID) Awards: MENA 2025.
As one of the most experienced and sustainability-focused interior fit-out companies in Dubai, this recognition reflects our continued commitment to excellence in both project delivery and team leadership.
Shortlisted Categories:
- Interior Fit-Out Firm of the Year – Large Scale
- Project Manager of the Year – Krystal Fernandes
Now in its 19th year, the CID Awards is the region’s most anticipated event in the design calendar, celebrating outstanding projects and people across more than 30 categories. With 1,000 industry professionals expected to attend this year’s ceremony on 25 September 2025 at Madinat Jumeirah, the awards bring together the region’s best in commercial interiors.
We’re honoured to be recognised among the region’s most forward-thinking firms and Krystal’s nomination reflects her dedication and the high standards we hold ourselves to across every project.
These awards are also a testament to the trust our clients place in us, and to the impact of choosing sustainable fit-out solutions.
Recognising Our Sustainable Fit-Out Commitment
Summertown’s nomination as Interior Fit-Out Firm of the Year reflects years of work delivering quality, certified interiors that reduce environmental impact and maximise long-term value. In 2024, 21% of our projects achieved LEED certification, and we diverted 70% of construction waste from landfill.
As a leader in sustainable office fit-out in Dubai, we incorporate WELL and LEED principles, biophilic design, and smart resource tracking across every project, from commercial HQs to education and healthcare fit-out.
All projects over 2,000 sqm include complimentary LEED certification, saving clients consultancy costs and aligning them with ESG reporting goals.
Spotlight on Leadership: Krystal Fernandes
We’re also thrilled to see Krystal Fernandes nominated for Project Manager of the Year. Krystal has led some of our most technically complex projects, balancing quality control, timeline demands and sustainability standards, all while maintaining trusted client relationships. Some of her outstanding projects are Schneider Electric HQ, Dubai Digital Authority and LinkedIn HQ.

Her nomination is a reflection of the culture we strive for: supportive, focused and built on collaboration.
Looking Ahead
We’re grateful to the CID Awards team and judges for the recognition, and to our clients and partners who continuously inspire us to evolve and lead with purpose.
We look forward to celebrating industry excellence at the ceremony this coming September 2025.
